Week of The WIPs

Somehow, all my motivation for recent projects has come back all at once. I've been bit by the crochet bug again (and just the crafty bug in general). This is perfect since I have too many WIPs lying around that I just need to knock out and get out of the way. I've been incredibly productive this year and I'm hoping to keep this streak going so this week is going to be my "Week of The WIPs"!

I have a few things I'm planning on getting done this week and I'll definitely share some photos. One project are these starfish hair clips I've been making because I've dedicated myself 100% to living that ~mermaid life~. These babies pictured on the right just need some two way clips and they're done.

So starting pretty much tonight until the end of next week I'm going to buckle down, marathon something on netflix and just get all these half finished projects done so I can move on to other cute and mermaidy projects.

New Adventures in Blogging

So I thought I'd try my hand at keeping a blog to keep track of everything going on this year. My life is full of change right now and I have quite a few exciting projects coming up! 

To start off, I'm getting better at doing my nails! It's something I've been working to improve on after I realized how quickly my nail polish collection had tripled in size... I have to put all those colors to use!  
I thought what better theme to practice with but ~mermaid~ so I did a glittery gradient and even added a pearl! Although, the pearl might be a tiny bit off-center. Oh well, practice makes perfect and I'm pretty proud of them.

I'm gonna be talking about working out (which I've starting to do much more seriously than before), crochet, art and plenty of other things so if you think you might be interested feel free to stick around!
